Home is a free-form poetry comic following a dreamy traveler as they explore the magical world they call home. Experience the joy, wonder, and comfort this home has to offer for you as much as it does for our dear traveler. But can such a perfect place to call home truly exist?

This comic was a passion project of mine. The idea for this comic had been sitting in my mind for a long time. I desperately wanted to create a comic that evoke specific feelings within the readers. I wanted to make something that touches my readers, made them understand and feel connected to my work. So when I was given the opportunity in my college class to make it, I jumped at the opportunity. Before I knew it, this comic came to life in a way I never could have initially envisioned. I wanted people to understand the feeling of dissociation, depersonalization, and derealization. So I focused on trying to create visual interpretations of my own experiences with those mental health issues. In order to do that, I had to break a lot of the traditional ways of making comics that I learned over the years. I experimented with transforming the media to play into the narrative. Coming up with intricate and unique ways to evoke the feelings I wanted readers to feel. 

It was a lot of fun making this comic, and I am really proud of it. I hope you enjoy reading it just as much as I enjoyed making it! And if you give it a read, let me know how you felt! <3
